Inspiration My inspiration was watching the Australian Open and seeing how many bad or wrong shots were there, I wanted a way to find what was the best shot?
What it does: It analyzes every shot by win percentage gained and shot available and tells the best shot in the position and gives a grade on the shot.
How we built it: We built it by analyzing over 4000 points from the 4 major tennis opens and used data cleaning and EDA to find the most successful positions and shots to try to find those positions on the court.
Challenges we ran into: It was tough to find exactly when the ball was going to be hit since the ball is so small and we had to find the exact point before.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: I am proud of the UI, I think it is very simple and clean to understand and read but also informative and helpful.
What we learned: We learned that Figma is really cool and I love using it!
What's next for Advantage AI: What is next is that we want to deploy this for serves, and have risk points: the riskier the point the safer shot would be better and also have a feature where you can toggle between players.
