Inspiration
Many personal finance applications feel heavy and slow. We wanted to build a lightning-fast, client-side expense tracker that calculates personal runway metrics instantaneously without network friction.
🛠️ What it does
The application tracks monthly budget caps, calculates dynamic spending totals, and features custom state-filtering algorithms to sort expenses by category. It instantly updates remaining balances and persists data across browser reloads.
💻 How we built it
By avoiding heavy server frameworks, we engineered this application with localized client-side state logic. It utilizes HTML5 LocalStorage APIs for persistent state storage, features dynamic arrays for filtering transaction lists, and operates with a highly responsive Tailwind CSS layout.
