Advance Fake News Detection

Inspiration:

The proliferation of misinformation and fake news in the digital age inspired us to create a tool that empowers individuals to discern fact from fiction in the information they consume. We were motivated by the potential consequences of misinformation on public discourse, elections, and even public health, and wanted to contribute to a solution.

Problem Statement Title: Advance fake news Detection System

Idea/Approach Since the people who actually Describe your idea/Solution/Prototype here: The biggest problem faced by the consumers is to contemplate which news is real and which is fake The reason for this problem is media don't want to deliver the real news, they basically want maximum people to get interested We want to design an app, with following features I. Delivers the very real news(since the people who actually witnessed the incident are going to give their views).

1. Dissolving of spam news( because only those people who belonging to that particular area (since their location had been accessed by our app) are allowed to give their views)
2. Even the common people would be able to give their views(unlike only media channels had that authority)
3. A translator would be included(to make the communication smooth between both sides)
4. A portal to share comments/photos/videos of the incident.
5. A poll feature/ retweets would be included(for the controversial subjects i.e real news is not sure)
6. None such app is created yet, hence it can get to a lot of people ultimately leads to generate revenue. 8.The incident which will be posted in the app ,there will an option of retweeting it, only that locality people where incident happened

Describe your Use Cases 1.Sign in ( contacts/gmail) 2.Permission to access to location 3.Selection of event on which he/she wants to give views 4.Verification by our app(on base of his/her current location) whether person is allow to give views 5.persons views(voice/images/videos/comments) will be uploaded. 6.The incident will be retweeted by that locality people, about the incident took placed or not 7.That locality people will only get access to retweet. 8.The poll feature will be available to determine real or fake. (% Statistics will be shown )

Dependencies Our main focus is public. We can make connections with news reporters/ social media influencer/ YouTube content creators by giving them some sort of commission.

What's next for Advance Fake News Detection:

We plan to continually update and enhance our app by expanding its language support and improving its accuracy. Integration with social media platforms to provide real-time news feed analysis is on our roadmap. We aim to educate users on how to critically evaluate information and develop media literacy through in-app resources and guides.
