ADSS - a surveillance and intelligence gathering multi-use system created with the goal to tackle SoS, City Alerts, City Mapping and play 'Forward Companion Roles' like Disaster Management, etc.

Coming up with the idea

Whenever you think about a city and its safety, multiple scenarios appear that have to be dealt with. Taking the use case of emergency or SOS response, reducing time taken between SOS created and the help arriving at the situation, we have created an *Advanced Drone Surveillance System (ADSS) *.

What it does

Drones are installed at multiple controlled nodes throughout the city. Whenever an SOS alert is created through our mobile application, the nearest drone is assigned that particular emergency and starts to record and monitor the situation. It sends the recorded frames to ML models trained to recognize the kind of threats (currently trained for knife, gun, fire and car crash).

How we built it

We built our application in flutter, the command center using React js, user information data base using MongoDB Atlas, and integrated these platforms through multiple APIs.

Challenges we ran into

We faced multiple challenges during the integration of the system, but were able to deal with the errors.

What's next for ADSS - Advanced Drone Surveillance System

ADSS has some great future prospective, with a lot that can be improved and added to the system, helping it help us make our cities safe.
