Inspiration

Animals have always had a soft spot in my heart and I've never been able to turn down an animal in need of a home (which is why we currently have 5 dogs and 3 cats). As much as I would love to save them all personally I know it's not feasible. Breeding and spending thousands of dollars is unnecessary when there are so many wonderful and adorable pets waiting to be adopted.

What it does

Showcases 1 to 2 dogs that are available for adoption with contact information of shelter.

How I built it

Using the LenStudio tools for images and text. I used Canva to create some of the images.

Challenges I ran into

None really. I've made several of these filters and had a decent idea of what I was doing.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The idea of helping put animals out there that are available for adoption on the Snapchat platform.

What I learned

I've improved my skills on using the Behavior function.

What's next for Adopt Your New Best Friend!

I'd like to reach out to more shelters to use this platform and acquire more sponsors for paid ads.
