Inspiration
In many African countries, thousands of students miss admission opportunities every year because they lack proper guidance on course selection, admission requirements, cutoff trends, and alternative pathways. Most students rely on guesswork, outdated information, or social media advice.
We built Admission Compass NG AI to solve this problem using Artificial Intelligence. The goal was to create an intelligent admission assistant that helps students make smarter academic decisions based on their JAMB scores, WAEC subjects, preferred course, and institution requirements.
The project was inspired by real experiences of students struggling with university admissions despite having strong potential.
What it Does
Admission Compass NG AI is an AI-powered admission intelligence platform that:
Predicts admission chances using student academic data
Explains why a student may or may not qualify
Recommends alternative courses and institutions
Provides personalized guidance and improvement suggestions
Uses real admission logic and institutional data
Makes admission decisions easier, faster, and more transparent
How We Built It
We built the project using modern web technologies and AI-powered workflows.
