Ads are boring and can be a waste of money if people ignore them.

What it does

Our app creates an engaging, competitive environment where people will be paying more attention than ever to the ads being served.

How I built it

We used Android Studio and a YouTube API to pull advertisements and Google's Cloud Firestore to connect users together. In the future, companies would pay for spots in our game and would have access to invaluable data about brand recognition for their advertising campaigns.

Challenges I ran into

We had not done much app development in the past so most of the project was new territory for us.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Going into the project we had no plan for a multiplayer mode. We are super proud that we were able to add that as a feature.

What I learned

We have a much better understanding of networking on Android and using cloud storage.

What's next for AdMe

Allow advertisers to pay for spots on our app and give them data on how people interacted with it.
