Rising healthcare costs- $300 billion global health problem due to medication non-adherence.
What it does
It integrates fully with your personal medical record to keep an updated active list of prescription medications, reminds you to take your medications, and tracks your medical adherence. Additional functionality includes medication side effects, drug interactions, updates to your personal medical record medication list, log of past medications, and a visual for each pill in your pillbox. This requires minimum to no input from the user except for a one -time log-in into their patient record.

Challenges we ran into
EMR API integration examples were outdated and some were not supported which led us to find alternative methods instead of using most optimized technique.

Tackling a serious medical problem with better functionality that any other app in the market today.

What's next for AdheraMed: simplify and digitize medication adherence
We will continue to develop our app and extend it’s reach to multiple mobile platforms and possible web platform as well. We hope this application helps millions of users.
