Inspiration

For me, this is the answer. As an inventor, my most successful project is one I'm passionate about because it's connected to my real-life problems. In this project, dealing with the fact that I have ADHD, which is a daily challenge, made me think about how we can improve the process of managing it.

What it does

I've noticed that the best way for me to deal with ADHD is by learning as I go. Whenever I faced a problem related to my ADHD, I made progress by learning strategies, but it took time because I didn't learn from the internet but from my own experiences and progress. Since ADHD varies and affects each person differently, I realized that AI, with its access to the knowledge of billions of people (the internet), understands how different people cope with ADHD. So, why can't we tell the AI about our specific ADHD problems (as new ones arise) and about ourselves? Then it can generate customized lessons, a daily progress checklist, and more, to make the learning and managing process more fun, enjoyable, quick, and time-efficient. ADHDBites does all of that. The lessons in the app range from breathing exercises and calendar management to focusing on the screen using eye tracking to improve conversation skills, and so much more, allowing each person to manage their ADHD in the best way possible.

How we built it

I utilized Uizard, a UI designer, to craft a UI/UX concept for enhanced visuals. Following that, we created a video that not only demonstrates what it feels like to have ADHD but also highlights some features of the app. It took some time, but I was able to produce a perfect video that effectively showcases my idea and feelings.
