Inspiration
We come from several underrepresented communities as we are girls and people of color. We know how it feels to be unsupported and lonely. That is why we decided to create a website so minorities can connect, feel heard, and talk about their experiences in a safe environment.
What it does
This website allows people to find social support groups that 1) fit the underrepresented community they are apart of and 2) find groups near them.
Our website

How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, and JS on Replit.
Challenges we ran into
Our biggest setback was finding a way to embed different Google Map pinpoints into our website based on the user's input. We struggled to use HTML and JS hand-in-hand.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully fixed our issue by creating the iframe element in HTML and changing the source link in JS based on if-else statements.
What we learned
We learned more about HTML, CSS, and JS as most of us started off as beginners. We learned how to embed Google Maps into our website, create variables, and collaboratively work together.
What's next for Adaversity
We hope to broaden our impact scope and also create this demo website into an actual website that can help people all over the United States (or even the world)!
