Recently I decided to build myself a portfolio hosted on Github Pages using Jekyll. I used open source Phantom Jekyll theme and I customized it a little bit with my projects and some basic information about me.

However, this template only allows users to add projects and there is not place for skills or education, for example. So for the "Set Up a Personal GitHub Page" task I decided to implement (hack) a small section where my skills will be displayed. In this case information about my skills are stored in _data/skills.yml and by adding a for loop in home.html layout I can nicely display them.
