Inspiration
Creating effective advertisements often requires switching between multiple tools for copywriting, creative planning, design, and campaign strategy. This process is time-consuming, especially for small businesses, freelancers, and marketers with limited resources.
We wanted to simplify this workflow by building a single AI-powered platform that transforms a simple product brief into a complete marketing campaign in just a few seconds.
What it does
AdPilot AI helps users generate complete advertising campaigns using AI.
Users simply enter their business information, product details, target audience, campaign goal, platform, and brand tone.
The application then generates:
- Multiple headline variations
- Primary advertising copy
- Call-to-action suggestions
- Product benefits
- Customer pain points
- Creative direction
- Color recommendations
- Production-ready AI image prompts
- Campaign performance insights
Campaigns can be saved for future use and exported when needed.
How we built it
AdPilot AI was built using React, TypeScript, and Vite for the frontend.
Supabase handles authentication and persistent campaign storage.
AI generation is powered through modern language models with fallback mechanisms to provide a reliable user experience.
The application combines structured prompting, marketing best practices, and AI-generated recommendations into a single workflow that is easy to use.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was designing an AI workflow that generates structured marketing content instead of random text.
Another challenge was creating reliable fallback behavior when AI services are unavailable, while maintaining a smooth user experience.
Balancing simplicity with powerful features also required several iterations of the interface and user flow.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of building an end-to-end AI marketing assistant that combines campaign planning, copy generation, creative direction, and image prompt generation into one application.
We're also proud of creating a clean, intuitive interface that allows users to generate professional marketing campaigns with minimal effort.
What we learned
This project helped us better understand AI prompt engineering, structured content generation, frontend architecture, authentication, deployment, and designing AI-powered user experiences.
It also reinforced the importance of building products that solve real-world problems while keeping the user experience simple.
What's next
Our future plans include:
- Direct AI image generation inside the application
- Support for more advertising platforms
