Inspiration

Many universities still rely on manual attendance, fragmented systems, and inefficient workflows to manage physical education and sports activities. We wanted to build a platform that makes campus sports management smarter, simpler, and more engaging for both students and teachers.

What it does

ActiveCampus is an AI-powered campus sports management platform that provides:

  • Sports attendance and check-in
  • Student activity tracking
  • Competition and event management
  • Teacher dashboard and analytics
  • Mobile apps for students
  • Web portal for administrators

The goal is to reduce administrative work while encouraging students to stay active.

How we built it

Our project consists of:

  • Student Web Application
  • Teacher Management Portal
  • Android App
  • iOS App
  • Backend API and Database
  • Cloud Deployment

The frontend is developed across multiple platforms while the backend provides unified APIs, authentication, and data management.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was coordinating multiple client applications while maintaining consistent business logic and user experience. We also had to carefully design scalable APIs and deployment strategies so the platform can be adopted by different universities in the future.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Built a cross-platform campus sports system
  • Unified multiple client applications
  • Designed a scalable architecture
  • Created a foundation that can be deployed to different schools

What we learned

Building software is not only about writing code. Product design, communication, system architecture, and scalability are equally important when creating a platform intended for real-world deployment.

What's next for ActiveCampus

Our next goal is to integrate AI-powered analytics, personalized fitness recommendations, automated attendance verification, and support for more universities through a scalable SaaS platform.

Our vision is to build the operating system for campus sports management, enabling schools to digitize physical education through one unified platform.
