Active Arrowmen is designed to be a social media and blog campaign showcasing Arrowmen and the excellent service they perform in their communities. Active Arrowmen wants to give gratitude and acknowledge those who work hard to better the Order and beyond.
The process works by Arrowmen submitting success stories highlighting another member of the organization to an online platform, as seen in the image attached. From there, a member of an appropriate committee will review the submission, format, and then publish the article. When the article is published it is automatically shared on social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.
The system could be deployed utilizing WordPress with an additional plugin that allows third party article submissions. The template could be tied in with the OA site, and setup on an appropriate subdomain- again, presenting as a blog. The stories could be scheduled to be posted on a regular basis (ie. weekly) and incorporated into the national social media storyboard.
The overall intention of the project is to highlight success right down to the individual Arrowman, while utilizing 21st century technology and sharing that success with the rest of the country, and hoping to inspire others.
