Inspiration
It started a sunday just a day before the public announcement of this hackthon after observing and hearing a lot of fake news but feeling the need of having a trusted source where to check information any time.
The hackthon came to boost us have something ready as fast as we can.
What it does
Provide all basic and important information needed around COVID-19 from trusted health organizations.
How I built it
We built by integrating AI to allow language processing and understanding, and made commands to help user navigate fast.
Challenges I ran into
The main challenge we have the chatbot use many language at the same time but we got a solution for.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The accomplishments we are proud of is building a tool that will help prevent the spreading of the virus.
What I learned
We have mainly learned about Covid-19 , how to prevent it.
What's next for Action Covid-19 Bot
Work on the production version of the platform that will integrate 3 channels: Messenger, WhatsApp and SMS. Partnering with language translation centre to have information in local languages.
