Why we built AcreVoice
Farmers often need help with support applications. An adviser may need one missing answer before they can help. Calling people takes time, and notes from calls can be unclear. AcreVoice helps collect the right answer and keeps a clear record for the adviser.
What AcreVoice does
AcreVoice helps farmers find official information about farming support in Bavaria. A farmer can agree to a phone call and answer a simple question. The answer is saved for an adviser to check. The adviser can accept the information, ask for more help, or export it for the next step.
How it works
First, AcreVoice shows official guidance. Then the farmer gives consent for a call. CALL E makes the phone call and collects the answer. The system saves the answer and shows it to the adviser. The adviser makes the final decision.
What was difficult
The main challenge was making sure the system does not guess. A farmer may be unsure, may give an incomplete answer, or may not answer the call. AcreVoice does not treat these answers as correct. It sends unclear information to a person for review.
What we want to do next
We want to test AcreVoice with more advisers and farmers. We also want to add more official guidance and make the system ready for real use with stronger security and privacy controls. Our goal is to save time for farmers and advisers while keeping people in control.
