AcquireAI – Hack the Future of Business

🚀 What Inspired Us

In today’s hyper-competitive business world, entrepreneurs and small teams are forced to operate like giants. But what if they didn’t have to build from scratch? What if they could intelligently "acquire" the capabilities of major platforms like Linktree or Instagram—with the click of a button?

That question led us to build AcquireAI, a game-changing business acquisition intelligence simulator designed to condense, repurpose, and redeploy the tools and functions of successful platforms into your own digital arsenal. Inspired by the swarm-based logic of StarCraft and the power of adaptive AI agents, we created AcquireAI to be both accessible and elite.

🧠 What We Learned

  • How to simulate business function acquisition using modular, role-swapping swarm agents.
  • Integration of real-time telemetry and visual dashboards via Supabase and TailwindCSS.
  • Better API orchestration with Stripe, RevCat, and a headless deployment strategy.
  • The balance between showcasing innovation and maintaining Netlify-compatible packaging.

We also explored what makes a platform feel powerful: control, feedback, modular growth, and real-time adaptability.

🏗️ How We Built It

AcquireAI was built using:

  • 🛠️ Frontend: React + TailwindCSS, rendered dynamically for an immersive cyberpunk dashboard.
  • 🧠 Swarm Agents: Modular agents (Oracle, Controller, Dispatcher) written in TypeScript.
  • 💾 Backend: Supabase for real-time data, PostgreSQL for memory/core agent tracking.
  • ⚙️ DevOps: GitHub CI/CD pipeline, deployed through Bolt.new and Netlify.
  • 💸 Integrations: Stripe for premium agent unlocking, RevenueCat for subscription logic.

Our UI/UX design draws heavily from StarCraft II, giving each swarm agent its own identity and "role card." Clicking on an agent reveals its unique tasks, abilities, and recent acquisitions.

🧩 Challenges We Faced

  • ⚔️ Merge conflicts galore during Git rebase and dependency shifts.
  • 🚧 Broken supabase-py==1.0.3 dependency in Netlify caused build fails (now removed).
  • 🌀 High token usage led to early cutoff on Bolt.new testing—forcing us to finish locally.
  • 🧠 Syncing frontend agent display with backend agent logic without losing the modular control theme.
  • ⏱️ Beating the submission clock after pivoting late in the hackathon.

🎯 The Goal

We wanted AcquireAI to be:

  • Visual and addictive to watch
  • Technically impressive
  • Easy for judges to imagine in real-world use
  • A business tool that adapts and grows like a living system

💡 What's Next

Post-hackathon, we aim to:

  • Expand agent catalog: add legal, social media, analytics, and grant-scanning agents.
  • Allow users to create custom agent swarms.
  • Integrate a marketplace of “acquirable” platform templates (like Notion, Shopify, etc.).
  • Add memory, simulation replay, and AI prediction overlays.

🏁 Final Thought

AcquireAI is more than an app—it’s a new mindset. Businesses shouldn’t start from scratch anymore. With AcquireAI, they can just look around, choose their next target, and acquire it.

🧙🏾‍♂️ “AcquireAI is what happens when modular agent swarms go corporate—and we love it.”
