ACME Incorporated

Inspiration

I learned about ChatGPT from a real estate group back in 2021, right before it was huge. I have always loved the idea of creating agents with purpose that could enhance the workplace. I decided this was a good time to showcase it. I signed up for the event on Friday, so I did not have a lot of time to build. I needed an idea I have already been thinking about.

What it does

It brings AI Agents to life in a 3D world. The AI agents have access to the same programs an employee would have access to. They are able to use the same software to complete tasks that a human employee would complete. Overtime, as their work is reviewed and approved, they have the ability to become more autonomous. They have the goal of growing into the C-Suite where they will be in charge of hiring and training more agents.

How we built it

Built using Codex powered by Chat GPT 5.6. It is able to be spun up on Railway. The integrations are powered by Composio.

Challenges we ran into

I have never created a game before, so that was the biggest challenge. I was able to find character and environment packs available online that actually worked quite well. I would have taken time to make them look like office workers instead of fantasy characters, but that actually makes it cool to me. There were parts where the underlying body was bigger than the outfits. Codex was able to actually color the skins and make it look like part of the fabric.

I didn't have time to built custom integrations and go through OAuth with providers like Quickbooks and Google. Composio was a great solution to take this from demo data to real data without wasting precious time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am most impressed that this entire product was started Friday around 5pm EST and I am submitting an MVP with time to spare. I was still able to play golf Saturday, host my daughter's birthday party on Sunday, go see the Odyssey with my son, and get my normal work done on Monday. Amazing!

It was also cool to use other offerings by OpenAI. The agents are able to speak to the user and create really solid marketing materials. They have the ability to speak, code, create images, and write - so basically it showcases the full suite.

What we learned

I learned a lot about 3d models and how they are incorporated into building a simulation. That was all new to me and I am definitely going to explore that further.

What's next for ACME Incorporated

My partners and I have a few business ideas we have been talking about for a long time, but have not had the time to start. Instead of using ACME to replace employees in our business today, I want to use it to deploy capital and start new ventures. I need to polish a few things, make sure the agents are talking to one another, confirm deliverables are solid, etc... But i expect to deploy a new venture soon.
