Inspiration
We wanted to make a 2D platformer and we decided to use rain as our obstacle.
What it does
You can move the character and jump around to try to avoid the rain
How we built it
We used PyCharm as our IDE and used PyGame as our form of making our game
Challenges we ran into
We ran into a bug that would let you keep on jumping. We also ran into challenges trying to make the rain slower and more predictable.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making our whole game from scratch with barely any prior knowledge of pyGame and making a decent project.
What we learned
We learned how to use pyGame and learnt how to build a basic game with python and also learnt how to use GitHub collaboratively.
What's next for Acid Avoider
We might finish this, but this is most likely going to stay in this state. Maybe next time try to rebuild this game on a different engine that has better control over sprites and time.
