Inspiration

I was inspired to create this project through not finding so many digital calculators for the Blind. There are only real calculators that may not be very efficient for most of the people.

What it does

It turns the text to speech meaning the digits into speech. Also, for the further project, real pressing buttons may be created to improve the performance of the calculator.

How we built it

I built it using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

There were lots of challenges such as the API not working on my MacBook, but working in Windows. I tested my API, however the issue was ongoing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of actually implementing the API.

What we learned

I learned how to implement an API.

What's next for AcessiBlind

Prototypes can be created.
