ACEmed Update #001
Last night ACEmed moved from concept to working prototype.
What started as an idea around reducing healthcare operational friction became a functioning A2A-compatible healthcare operations agent integrated with Prompt Opinion.
Current capabilities include:
• Referral readiness review • Prior authorization completeness support • Scheduling coordination logic • Administrative handoff summaries • Human-in-the-loop operational guidance
Most importantly:
ACEmed is intentionally non-diagnostic.**
Rather than replacing clinicians, the goal is to support healthcare teams by reducing referral delays, surfacing missing operational information, and improving coordination across workflows.
Under the hood, tonight included:
• A2A interoperability • External agent communication • Synthetic/de-identified healthcare data • Governance-first design • Audit-aware outputs
We even got ACEmed published as an external A2A agent and responding successfully during testing.
Still very early.
But one thing became clear:
Healthcare AI doesn’t only need to focus on diagnosis.
Sometimes the biggest impact comes from improving the operational systems around care.
Version 0.1 shipped.
