Inspiration

During virtual learning, we saw how it was difficult for students to collaborate for group projects so we wanted to create a platform to make it easier to work on projects.

What it does

Allows members to work together and decide on meeting times and organize resources. It is very streamlined and easy to use for all group members.

How we built it

We used repl.it to collaborate and work on the code together. We used languages such as java, HTML, javascript, and CSS.

Challenges we ran into

We found it a little tricky to logically integrate javascript into our html code, especially when we were trying to use the input from the forms and trying to put it into the iframe.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We primarily work in JAVA, but during this hackathon, we were able to expand our CS skills and incorporate elements of HTML and Javascript.

What we learned

We were able to learn more about other coding languages beyond java, such as HTML, Javascript, and CSS. We also learned more about the logical aspect of tackling coding problems.

What's next for AceIt!

We plan on developing a chat in which people can communicate with each other as well as conduct study sessions online. We also plan to create a homepage from where different sessions can be generated; and each group would have their own “room” to work on their project.
