Inspiration

my mother has inspired me to do what I love. In this case I love to help others and make this world a much better place. My love for solving complex problems in calculus and learning more about the AP level courses has inspired me to make this amazing app.

What it does

The app is designed to help any who needs resources and help with any AP they ask for. The app also provides high quality sites and videos that will possibly make any student ace the preferred AP.

How we built it

I built this app with Java and some NPL. I used it on the website called code.org

Challenges we ran into

The humungous amount of OnEvent and writing it correctly. The large amount of buttons made it feel like a puzzle to figure out which screen has which button. Finding the most effective sites. One very important part was working 10 hours a day and taking breaks. Coding is very fun, so getting off the screen was hard to do.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing the project successfully without any major errors throughout the code. Making an app that can help many high school students who need guidance for free for AP courses and notes/resources to ace it. Having fun while writing the code was a key part of this project.

What we learned

I learned that patience and discipline is key to having the best project. I also learned that doing a project for an impact on the community is much more important compared to doing something for the heck of it. The 500 plus lines of code has taught me that everything takes a process.

What's next for AceAP

I want to spread AceAP and make it a much bigger app for guidance and notes to Ace the AP. This particularly means that I want to add more resources when I have more time to make this app much bigger. I also want to make a much bigger impact for struggling high school students, and make an instagram page dedicated more to AceAP.
