Ace It

Inspiration

Ace It was inspired by our own struggles as college students trying to stay organized while managing classes, assignments, and mental health. We noticed that students often switch between multiple apps just to keep up with deadlines, reminders, and notes. We wanted to build something that brings everything together in one place and feels personal and supportive rather than stressful or complicated.

What it does

Ace It is an AI Student Assistant that helps students manage their academic and personal lives more effectively. It includes a smart calendar, homework tracker, resource hub, and mood tracker, all connected to an AI assistant that offers reminders, motivation, and productivity tips. The goal is to help students balance their workload while maintaining good mental health and overall well-being.

How we built it

We built Ace It using a lightweight and flexible tech stack to meet the hackathon time limit. Frontend: React.js, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript Backend: Future Plans Python (Flask API)

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was time. Building a working app with several features in about a day required careful prioritization.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we turned a complex idea into a working prototype in just two days. We are also proud of how well we worked together as a team, dividing tasks and helping each other debug problems.
