Inspiration

For 3years I was fortunate to lead an amazing team of 8people. I worked closely with 3 of them and here are somethings that amazed me about them:

Person A could tell you line by line the total expense of the day without looking at the system.
Person B could recite all the names on the staff payroll
Person C could tell you the exact figure a client is owing offhand.

I realized quickly that this is an amazing team but I wanted them to use themselves for more engaging task.

To that effect, I started studying CFA hoping to find something exciting to introduce to my team but I failed twice.

However, while preparing to take CFA level 1 for the second time, my friend saw me calculating standard deviation using my jotter and BA II calculator and immediately said ‘Lola do you know you can calculate this using one line of code’. This was how I got introduced to technology!!!

I fell in love with it so much I dropped everything and focused fully on it. This is definitely what was missing in the Team.

I see the possibilities of technology adding value to my team by taking away redundant tasks and introducing new tasks that adds value not just to the company but to my Team.

When I was younger, I thought I had all the knowledge in the world, after leading a team I realized I had no knowledge atall. This was why I created this video to start an engagement and learn from great minds. I would like to know:
