Accountable

Inspiration

Currently, when accounting professionals search on common platforms, either generic or inaccurate information is returned. There exists no single platform that consolidates all related information from relevant source and provide accurate responses to accounting and auditing issues. As avid users of stack overflow, we realised the possibility of making a similar one for accountants and therefore, decided to embark on this idea.

What it does

Accountable is an open community for any accountant. We help you get answers to your toughest accounting and auditing questions.

How I built it

Prototype made through wire framing of pages together through a UI/UX design platform

Challenges I ran into

• Was not sure of the accountancy jargons at times.
• Checking multiple times to ensure that our unique advantage was really as unique as we thought of it to be

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Made up a decent wireframe prototype of what we envision, even though it is nowhere the end product, but I do hope we get the opportunity to finish this

What I learned

Problems sometimes can be solved with very relevant and real-life solutions but people have to be willing to take the first step and work towards these solutions before they can come to real

What's next for Accountable

Seek further features that can be implemented so that it will be more functional and as useful as how stackoverflow is.
