Because most vehicles in India are sold without such basic safety features as anti-lock brakes and airbags, India leads the world in road deaths on it's underdeveloped and dangerous roadways. Therefore, it is important that motorists see the dangers in their path far before they encounter them.
Accident Defense System (ADS) is an aftermarket plug-and-play upgrade that uses a highly sensitive infrared sensor and a camera to give motorists a clear view of the road ahead. ADS can see through the darkness of night, stormy weather, and even dense fog to keep motorists from hitting obstacles and innocent pedestrians that are hidden from the naked eye.
In response to government failures and an underdeveloped roadway infrastructure, the ADS is a grassroots response that makes advanced safety features accessible to motorists in a cost-effective and ergonomic package that saves lives.
Inspiration -
Six years ago I was the victim of a terrible accident that left me partially paralyzed for over a year.

How I built it -
With the help of some innovators like my wife Lorraine, my engineer Rahul, and my partner Joe Salazar III (the founder of The Salazar Method).
Challenges I ran into -
India can very isolated, and it is very difficult at times to find a community of local entrepreneurs and qualified hardware/software developers.
