During our research, we found that many rural schools in India still rely on manual registers for attendance. This not only consumes valuable teaching time but also leads to errors, proxy attendance, and poor accountability. High absenteeism often goes unnoticed, directly contributing to dropouts—a major challenge in rural education.

We were inspired to create RuralSmart, a solution that makes attendance simple, automated, and transparent, ensuring that every child counts.
