Our mission is to make campus life easier not only for the abled but for the disabled as well. From handicapped automatic doors being broken to inaccessible parking lot structures, there are various issues concerning accessibility and accommodations around campus that we have noticed. Although we use some of the accommodations for our own personal reasons, we wanted to ensure that other students could voice their concerns about accessibility on campus. Accessibility is essential for the campus to be a welcoming and inclusive environment for all people. In this app, students and faculty will be able to mark areas in campus that are hazards and lack accommodations. They can also select what type of hazard it is from a drop down menu that includes whether an area has is wheelchair accessibility, flashing lights, excessive volume, uneven surfaces, and broken or heavy doors. There are also resource icons that can be chosen from including vending machines, charging stations, trash cans, and chill areas. Lastly, there is an icon that can selected for marking areas with accommodations such as a ramp, sidewalk, or wheelchair street entrance.
