Inspiration

Honestly, I live with mental health challenges every single day, and it can often feel overwhelming. I know how it is, especially for individuals with disabilities who may also face accessibility barriers to care and support. I initially built Overthinker Solver as a personal tool to manage overthinking and anxiety. However, as I saw its potential, I decided to participate in this hackathon for the first time. I envisioned something larger: a platform that could empower others, especially people with cognitive, emotional, and sensory challenges.

What it does

Overthinker Solver is a mindfulness and thought helper tool designed for accessibility, emotional wellness, and inclusion. It combines structured thought logging, AI support, guided breathing, and rich analytics, all built with assistive features in mind. Here are a few things below... and a basic music feature with copyright free music (basic)

It helps users manage their mental wellness through accessible features like thought logging with AI-powered insights, undoable actions, and saved guidance. The app includes guided breathing exercises (Box, 4-7-8, Triangle, Alternate Nostril) with visual/audio support, as well as session tracking. Users can listen to calming playlists, log their moods, and adjust the audio for accessibility.

How I built it

I used Cursor AI as an assistive development tool and built much of the platform independently, utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Gemini AI is the AI

Challenges I ran into

Debugging edge cases in the AI integration and ensuring full accessibility compliance were significant challenges

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I finished, but more importantly, I created a tool that empowers people with mental health issues, most of it!! even if it's not perfect it's a start.

What I learned

Every line of code taught me something new because that's what programming does... It's like going to school or reading; the more you program, the more you learn.

What's next for Overthinker Solver

I plan to expand the platform by: Open-sourcing parts of the project when I'm ready, and I want to encourage collaboration And keep improving it!
