Inspiration
With 18.5 million people worldwide that have disabilities affecting how they see, hear, and speak, it’s a wonder how support for the disabled community is evidently lacking. When we shift from physical to online learning people with difficulties face lots of problems and learning moves at very slow speed. We are proposing to create a technologically inclusive solution for people with disabilities making their lives easier during the pandemic and post pandemic as well.
What it does
We propose our APIs to overcome the communication barrier between disabled people and various other platforms whether it be video conferencing on zoom or reading a blogging website. We are trying to build something which different websites and platforms can integrate within them to make it easy for disabled people to listen, read and speak efficiently.
- Sign language to Audio and vice versa
We have build an API that allows the interconversion of sign language to audio and vice versa and hence made communication easy from both end users.
- Sign language to TEXT and vice versa
Another API similar to google translation helps convert text to sign language and vice versa and hence making online meetings easy for everyone.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making something that can help someone and make their life easy. Help people to communicate and share there ideas.
What's next for Accessability
Making API more efficient and realtime. Ease to integrate in any software. These APIs can also be used in different sectors like gesture tracking can be used in self driving car to give instructions.
