Concept of Access4All

As of now, there are very few resources available for disabled people. We want to improve the lives of those who are restricted from places because of their disability in terms of whether their wheelchair can fit or if there's even a ramp for a wheelchair at all. A disability shouldn't restrict anyone from being able to enjoy a nice afternoon at a museum. This is why Access4All was created. This is the first of its kind for the Philadelphia area. It provides a look at if a public space like Fairmount Park or a coffee shop allows wheelchair users to have the most convenience. Essentially, there are 5 important aspects of making the lives of those in wheelchairs much easier - whether the place includes near handicap parking, an elevator for multi-level buildings, larger bathrooms that accommodate wheelchairs, and automatic doors for ease of entrance. Places mentioned in Access4All are handpicked to provide the most comfort and took an absurd amount of research, which causes an even bigger inconvenience for the user because all wheelchair accommodation information isn't publicly provided in one place. The concept of this app is very easy - more green checkmarks, the more accessible it is for those in a wheelchair.
