Access LA: Hollywood AI Assistant (Track 1)

Inspiration

My inspiration stemmed from the need to simplify complex filmmaking tasks through AI. I wanted to create a tool that empowers creators by automating script analysis, character development, and more.

What it does

The Hollywood AI Assistant offers filmmakers a suite of AI-powered tools, including script analysis, character development, location suggestions, and dialogue generation, all accessible via a user-friendly interface.

How we built it

I developed the app using Python and integrated OpenAI's API for AI functionalities. I plan to implement local LLM functionality so users don't need to use external services for this feature. The frontend was crafted with HTML using the Tailwind CSS framework for a modern, responsive design.

Challenges we ran into

Key challenges included fine-tuning AI models to provide accurate, context-aware outputs, ensuring seamless mobile responsiveness, and ensuring a consistent user experience across devices.

I'm proud of successfully integrating multiple AI features into a cohesive platform and creating a streamlined experience that truly enhances the creative process for filmmakers.
