Access Beauty was born out of a desire to create a more inclusive beauty industry that caters to the needs of all individuals, regardless of their abilities. I believe that beauty should be accessible to everyone, and this project is a step towards achieving that goal. I'm inspired by the potential of technology to create positive change and make a real difference in people's lives.

Currently, the app is only a frontend prototype, and does not have any backend or database functions. Its purpose is to showcase the potential of technology to create a more inclusive beauty industry

It allows users to search or scan the barcode code of beauty product to get information on its accessibility features. The app is designed to cater to the needs of individuals with physical, visual, and cognitive disabilities. It provides information on the physical, visual, and cognitive accessibility features of a product, such as ease of opening, large text, and simplified instructions. The app also allows users to leave reviews on the accessibility features of products they have used, creating a community-driven platform that provides valuable information for individuals with disabilities who want to make informed decisions when purchasing beauty products. In addition to scanning barcodes, Access Beauty also allows users to search for beauty products by name if there is no barcode available. The app provides information on the accessibility features of the product, and allows users to leave reviews to update the information in the database. While Access Beauty is still a prototype and currently consists only of frontend languages, we envision the future development of a backend and database to provide a more comprehensive and user-friendly experience.
