During the months leading up to the UX|UI Hackathon 2016, my co-lead and I began our inquiry with prospective Austin Community College students. Through research, we found an area in the student degree planning process that could be improved and we wanted to explore it in depth. On April 30th, we led a team of four through the design thinking process on a 10 hour hackathon event, that resulted in a First Place Award granted by a panel composed of UX professionals and ACC’s staff. Role: Team co-lead, UX R & D, Project Manager, Visual Designer, Copywriter, Presenter.
