What Inspired Me
Today's educational technology environment has a harsh reality: learning often means little more than watching a pre-recorded video on an app. Platforms typically show the exact same content to both a top student and an average student, while asking questions or receiving personalized help can be nearly impossible. Meanwhile, standard AI tools like ChatGPT can often feel too generic to function as a structured, dedicated tutor.
Worse yet, many students cannot afford private tuition. As a student myself, I felt this was a problem I had to solve. I wanted to build something that truly understands students, adapts to their individual needs, and makes high-quality, personalized education accessible to everyone.
How I Built It
I built this project completely on my own, using my skills, passion, and sheer determination—with no team and no funding. It is the result of my obsession and countless hours of work, built across millions of lines of code.
- Core & UI: Developed using Java, HTML, and CSS to create a clean, responsive user experience.
- Brain & Adaptability — Acazen Model: Built using pure Python, leveraging NumPy, vector spaces, and foundational mathematical principles to power brain-stimulating artificial emotions and adaptive components.
- Starting Intelligence: Integrated Gemini using Google's free 90-day trial plan as the starting model. The custom Acazen model gradually learns from each student's interactions, which can eventually contribute to a broader world model. My long-term vision is to build a massive AI model trained securely on anonymized study data and student interactions, with user consent.
- Infrastructure & Database: Integrated Firebase for the database and Razorpay for payment infrastructure.
Challenges I Faced
Building this was an absolute uphill battle. I had no team, no funding, and faced failure for two straight years before achieving this breakthrough.
From managing API limitations during testing to architecting complex adaptive-learning systems entirely by myself, every challenge tested my limits. I utilized free trial resources, including Google's 90-day Gemini plan, to get through the testing phase with real students and testers.
Seeing students successfully test the platform and nearly complete it makes every sleepless night worth it.
The Future of Acazen
My absolute goal is to define the AI education category and build the first trillion-dollar company in education.
At 16 years old, I am fully committed to continuously improving my skills and finding the right investors for Acazen. Winning a hackathon would be an incredible jumpstart, but even if I don't win, I will keep pushing forward.
Because giving up is never an option.
