Inspiration

Catching up is quite difficult for students in this new normal of online classes and keeping track of classes every single day is exhausting and difficult. So we thought of creating a web app to help students keep track of timings of classes to reduce the stress a little!!

What it does

The Web app helps to set up reminders for various classes and also shows the time schedule of classes for the whole day.

How we built it

We've built the front page using HTML, CSS, JS, JSON and Notivize api

Challenges we ran into

Being able to collaborate and make a web app within this short span of time and communicating and working from different time zones was the biggest hurdle we've achieved.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to make a deployable webapp was a big achievement. Used notivize api for the first time and successfully integrated it to our web app

What we learned

We learned different technologies and learned about team work and good communication

What's next for Academic Shepherd

The next updates that we have in mind include providing students the choice of deciding the reminder timings, and making the web app more user friendly and add more notification features.
