AcademiaX-AI

AcademiaX-AI is a smart academic management platform designed to make college life easier by bringing courses, enrollments, assignments, and deadlines together in one place. The inspiration came from the challenges students face when managing their academic activities across different platforms.

We built the project using React and Vite for the frontend, Java Spring Boot for the backend, and PostgreSQL for database management. The application provides separate dashboards for students, teachers, and administrators, with features for course enrollment, assignment management, and student submissions.

During development, we learned how to connect frontend and backend applications using REST APIs, manage database connections, implement login functionality, and organize features according to user roles. One of our biggest challenges was integrating all the technologies and debugging issues related to authentication, database connectivity, and API communication.

Building AcademiaX-AI helped us gain practical experience in full-stack development, problem-solving, and software integration. Our future goal is to improve the platform with deadline notifications, enhanced security, and a smoother user experience, making academic management simpler and more efficient for students and teachers.
