With the rapid evolution of autonomous workflows and generative intelligence, we wanted to build a seamless, lightning-fast, and deeply integrated AI agent assistant. The goal was to bridge the gap between human ideas and instant execution using the cutting-edge capabilities of Google's Gemini models.

What it does

AC2C AI Assistant is a sleek, cyber-themed web agent interface featuring dynamic RGB lighting and real-time interaction. It allows users to prompt complex ideas, execute automated actions, and receive intelligent responses instantly through a clean, modern UI inspired by advanced developer tools.

How we built it

Frontend: Built with a modern, responsive HTML5 and CSS3 interface featuring smooth glassmorphism and dynamic CSS animations.
Backend: Powered by Node.js, Express, and Serverless deployment.
AI Integration: Integrated directly with the @google/genai SDK utilizing the high-performance gemini-3.6 model to process user queries with exceptional speed and accuracy.

Challenges we faced

Balancing a clean, futuristic UI with smooth performance while handling secure environment variables (GEMINI_API_KEY) on production servers like Vercel. We also optimized the SDK integration to ensure reliable communication with the latest Gemini endpoints.

What we learned

We mastered advanced asynchronous API handling, dynamic DOM manipulation with custom CSS animations, and deploying full-stack Node.js applications seamlessly to cloud platforms.
