Abstract Art Generator

For those with Writer's Block, use this simple program to generate random art on-the-go

Inspiration

The inspiration came to me when I remembered a time that had serious writer's block. It took 3 days before I could write again, so I decided to make a program that could alleviate that from happening.

What it does

When the website is refreshed, it generates a random abstract art piece.

How we built it

We used p5.js and the repl.it website to design a simple website to get the task done.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we ran into included coloring functions malfunctions, and accidentally creating infinite loops

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the final product, as it resembles actual abstract art.

What we learned

We learned how to use different libraries to our advantage, as well as being able to create and test a program every step of the way.

What's next for Abstract Art Generator

Next steps for the generator would be to improve the UI, Add buttons so the website doesn't need to be refreshed, and possibly adding additional art styles. (e.g. cubism, realism, etc.)
