  MAGICAL WORLD

Inspiration

We are learning HTML and CSS and wanted to further refine our skills and wanted to get better at what we have learnt. So, we decided to build a project using HTML and CSS so that we can get some hands-on practical experience which will help us greatly to make even better projects in future.

What it does

It is a front-end which we made using html and Css and our entire website's or web page's look revolves around the given theme which is Abracadabra that is "the magical theme". We tried to compare the magical theme with the wonderful magical powers of CSS that we apply in our content to make it look beautiful and pleasing.

How we built it

We built it with the help of html and Css and we tried to make it magical by using magical powers of CSS. We coordinated with our team members and with each other's mutual understanding we tried to make it as close as to the given theme and we enjoyed working on this project.

Challenges we ran into

Yes, there were some challenges that we came across as this was our first hackathon so the things were a little confusing in the beginning but with patience and with the attitude of learning new things we managed to understand things and slowly we made it. In the beginning it was difficult to understand the concepts or the platforms like Github, Devpost, Discord, Mlh. In order to learn to operate these things we watched some youtube videos and took help from our college seniors who were nice enough to make us understand those things.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are a little bit proud of ourselves as we managed to learn few new things which are very important for our good future too. We are happy about a thing that we are trying to move out of our comfort zone and investing our time in learning good things and becoming a bit responsible towards our future.

What we learned

We learned how to work as a team and how we can learn so much from our team members during a group project. We learned to use Github, Devpost, Discord, Mlh, how to participate in hackathons. We learnt more about html and Css while we were working on this project and also projects help in retaining that coding information or coding skills that we gathered. We tend to forget our coding skills if we do not practice but with the Mlh hackathons we can keep learning and always be in touch with our skills.

What's next for Abracadabra

We are planning to learn more skills like Javascript, node Js, different frame works, Mongo Db etc. so that we can participate in full stack development.
