Inspiration💡

I have seen most of the teachers waste so much time checking attendance, and also, some people miss attendance due to fragile voices, and some give multiple attendances for their friends. so here we can see its

time waste⏳ mistakes❌ old school ⛔ so I decided to make a tool that helps the teacher to take attendance in significantly less time and also strictly prohibits proxy

What it does💪🏼

So our discord bot will collect all the attendance from the students so first, the teacher will tell a secret code daily in the class, and all the students need to enter that code within 1 minute, so they get attendance; then the teacher will get a text message on their phone about who are present

How we built it 🧱

We built our bot on discord by using discord.py We used Twilio for SMS functions. We made a code that runs fast and finishes taking attendance very quickly.

And we made our website with the help of GitHub and using GoDaddy, and we purchased it.

Challenges we ran into🧗🏼

We ran into many challenges exploring Twilio, like can't understand how the API works and how to configure it. We wanted to send the message on Whatsapp but decided to move to SMS as it is better and optimized in Twilio.
