Inspiration
I was inspired by my mom, who is passionate about conserving the environment.
What it does
This website provides a very simple and brief definition of microplastics, and its impact on the environment. At the bottom, it lists other websites for further research.
How we built it
I used HTML and CSS to build and design the website. I did this through a website called Replit.
Challenges we ran into
I struggled with learning HTML and CSS, since I had never made a website or coded before. Specifically, I struggled with creating and understanding text boxes in CSS.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm proud that I was able to use HTML to insert text, images, and links. I also was able to customize the text in the website using CSS.
What we learned
I learned how to make a website.
What's next for Intro to Microplastics
The next step for my website would be to learn how to make other webpages to fit more information about the topic.
