Able Trips

Inspiration

My inspiration for this idea comes from a summer where I frequently had to drive my grandpa back and forth from his doctor's appointments. Since I was the only one around to take him, if I was unavailable due to school or other matters then he simply couldn't get to his vital appointments.

What it does

The goal of Able Trips is to connect senior citizens and those that are disabled with drivers that are qualified to care for the elderly. The main mission of Able Trips is to provide them with the care and reliability that they deserve.

How we built it

Currently, The project is purely the front end which is built with React and TailwindCSS.

What's next for Able Trips

The goal for Able Trips is to build out the backend to actually connect riders with their drivers and potentially have a functioning mobile app instead of purely a web app.
