Inspiration
The Covid-19 pandemic posed challenges for almost every students as it shifted them to a completely different style of learning, but the students most-affected by the lockdown were children with learning disabilities. During virtual learning, a lot of these children did not have access to the same resources as they did at school. The new remote learning changed their learning environment, expected them to learn new skills without being taught those skills, and took away their ability to interact with their teacher and their peers and the lack of assistance the children with learning disabilities were receiving in remote learning left them behind from other kids of their age. To provide a solution to this problem, we created a launched the Able-bodies initiative through which we aim can help students with disabilities learn better with the help of a stream-lined and oriented process of learning specifically oriented to cater to their specific needs.
