Inspiration
We are both really interested in the sustainability of our world, and actively try to help our communities become more green. We thought that this was the perfect outlet to share our thoughts on the topic.
What it does
Through JavaScript, HTML, CSS we have created a website that informs users about sustainability in all contexts. Different types of media are shown throughout (images, documentaries, videos, links, documents, etc)
How we built it
We used JavaScript, HTML, CSS to code our website.
Challenges we ran into
Timing constraints limited, and we could not color our text differently, but we debugged and learned how to improve our skills independently.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the ombre background, embedding different types of media, and mentally, we feel accomplished because we have created a "sustainability hub" for our friends/family/peers to be able to access so much good information in one web page.
What we learned
That we can accomplish a lot in just a little time, and we also learned a lot about the issue itself.
What's next for Ability to have Sustainability
More interactivity, like buttons and maybe even a different webpage with a game (possibly getting a piece of trash and having to sort it into trash/recycling/composting
