Inspiration
Well in my community there have been a lot of coyote and cougar sightings but no one else in our neighborhood knows about it than us. So I set out to make this site in hopes that it would help your local neighbors in case they lost something or see something dangerous.
What it does
So first you can log in or report anonymously but if you don't log in you cant see all the data that other people posted. So when you post other people in the same zipcode can see what the problem or warning is and can comment only if logged in.
How we built it
Using the following languages below I used them to make the site work.
Challenges we ran into
So while we were coding Entity-Framework was not working because we had to update it but we didn't know that so we redid the entire project again to find that we had to update it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of making this site work because in the beginning it was throwing tons of errors and for some reason, it wasn't running.
What we learned
I learned that we could connect the code to an SQL database.
What's next for AbhiHood
Well since I am an intermediate coder I don't know how to create a website using Flask or Django. So for our next improvements, I am going to make it into a site so that everyone can access it because right now it is running on my computer.
