Inspiration:

My personal experience of fear and uncertainty while browsing the internet inspired the creation of "Abhayavaha." I have seen people, including elderly individuals like my parents, fall victim to phishing scams due to their lack of technological proficiency. Witnessing their struggles to identify fraudulent websites highlighted the pervasive nature of the problem. Even for cybersecurity professionals, distinguishing between legitimate and malicious websites can be challenging. This realization fueled my determination to develop a solution that could provide users, regardless of their technical expertise, with the confidence to navigate the web safely and securely.

What it does:

Abhayavaha is an AI-powered tool crafted to detect phishing websites with remarkable accuracy. Users simply input a website URL, and Abhayavaha swiftly analyzes its characteristics to ascertain its legitimacy. By harnessing advanced machine learning algorithms and data analysis techniques, Abhayavaha provides real-time insights, enabling users to navigate the internet securely.

How we built it:

Abhayavaha was developed effortlessly using the Party Rocker AWS tool, which streamlined the entire process without any hassle. This tool automated various aspects of deployment and management, allowing us to focus on refining the user experience and ensuring the detection system's accuracy. Leveraging the efficiency and scalability of AWS services, we expedited Abhayavaha's development and brought it to fruition in a fraction of the time it would have taken using traditional methods.

Challenges we ran into:

Developing Abhayavaha presented several challenges, but the Party Rocker AWS tool significantly alleviated them.
