Inspiration
We were inspired by the fact that money is becoming increasingly more digital and with that child and young adults are becoming more detached from their spending habits.
What it does
It allows a parent to administer a child's daily allowance and monitor their purchase history. It also provides the user with helpful and insightful messages and stats about their spending.
How we built it
We wanted to make the experience mobile first so we chose to make a multiplatform app in typescript and angular.
Challenges we ran into
Javascript. Oh god the angular headaches.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It actually legit works which is awesome. You can go out and buy things and they show up on the app! And your balance goes down!
