Inspiration

With the increasing demand of technology, everyone nowadays is trying to go in the tech industry and so is learning coding. During this time, the ones who lag behind are those who haven't been gifted some beautiful gifts from the almighty. For example, a visually challenged person finds it difficult to code and so I have come up with a solution for them to start with web development (something a beginner can start with)

What it does

The projects has got an online editor and a real time output screen. The editors consists of those of HTML, CSS and JS . A visually challenged person can use an online chrome green reader extension and help himself navigate through the page. They can dictate the code while the website automatically transforms it into text and shows the real time output on the output screen.

How I built it

Since the code editor only comprises of HTML ,CSS and JavaScript, I used these along with Alan App to build this project. I later containerised the application and made a docker image which is pushed to the docker hub ( "attreyeem/abcc-image" - name of the docker image on docker hub).

Challenges I ran into

Being a total beginner in the field of DevOps, the biggest problem I faced was to understand the concept. I would love to go into the depth of this topic and create more projects using this methodology. Apart from this, a challenge that I faced was when the speech recognition api wasn't able to understand symbols, which I was able to solve later. I look forward to making the speech recognition more accurate.

What I learned

Since I was not very well versed with JavaScript ( due to which I wasn't able to use symbol.ai ) , this project made me gain some experience as well as confidence in making a project using JS. I look forward to creating more such projects using JavaScript

What's next for ABCC -ANYBODY CAN CODE

I look forward to making the speech recognition more accurate by developing my own speech to text conversion system using machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.
